Quartz sand is quartz stone crushing processed. Quartzite (Quartz rock), also known as silica, is a hard, wear-resistant, chemically stable silicate mineral. In nature, there are quartz sandstone, quartz vein quartz. Quartz sandstone is a clastic rock of consolidation. Quartz detritus content is more than 95%. Refined quartz sand is derived from various magnetic crocks, sedimentary rocks and metamorphic rocks, and less heavy minerals. Associated minerals are feldspar, mica and clay minerals. Quartz ite is divided into two types: sedimentary origin and metamophic origin. The boundary between clastic particlesand cementations not obvious. The latter refers to deep, pure quartz quartzite. Quartz vein is formed by hydrothermal action, which is entrirely composed of quartz and dense and massive.

The mineral content of quartz sand has great change, mainly quartz, followed by feldspar, mica, rock debris, heavy mineral, clay mineral and so on.Quartz sand is a hard, wear-resistant, stable chemical properties, its main mineral composition is ISO2, quartz sand color is white, colorless or translucent, 7 hardness, brittle cleavage, conchatus fracture, oil sheen, density 2.65, bulk density (1-20 for 1.6). 20-200 to 1.5, the chemical, thermal and mechanical properties have obvious anisotropy, insoluble on acid, slightly soluble in KOH solution, of the melting point of 1750DEGC.

Removing iron from dry quartz sand purification equipment: the mainminerals in quartz sand are antimagnetic quartz, which can not be magnetized in the magnetic materials and can be magnetized in the magnetic field. In the magnetic separation process, we use the difference of this property to separate magnetic minerals from non-magnetic separation process, we use the difference of this property to separate magnetic from non-magnetic minerals, and remove these iron impurity minerals in quartz sand by magnetic separation, so as to achieve the purpose of removing iron minerals.

The common specifications of quartz and sand are: 0.5-1mm, 2-4mm, 4-8mm, 16-32mm, 10-20 mesh, 20-40 mesh, 40-80 mesh, 100-120mesh.
